This time of year is all about the return of the light. We see this represented in the taiji, that yin/yang symbol most recognize. Darkness reaches its apex, yet there is still the tiniest seed of vital light that begins to grow again. The ground is cold, we hibernate and turn inward, all in preparation for a rebirth–for the return of the light. This turning point is a great time to assess what we want to nourish and grow in the new year and what we are ready to shed. What are your goals for the new year? Perhaps you would like more vitality. Or maybe you are ready to shed that pesky stress headache. Whatever your goals, let acupuncture and Chinese medicine support you along the way! Call or email today to learn more or to schedule an appointment.
2014 Insurance Reminder
The new calendar year can bring changes to your insurance plan. To stay abreast and avoid unwanted surprises! Call your insurance company before your next appointment. Ask your representative about coverage, deductibles as well as any requirements for pre-authorization and/or referrals. Don’t forget to bring your most current insurance card with you to your next appointment. As a courtesy, I accept co-pays, bill insurance, and attempt to stay current on the terms of your coverage. However, knowing your policy, terms of coverage, and tracking treatments used is a good idea and ultimately your responsibility. Let’s work together to make the most of your health care coverage!
